PCB RECYCLING PLANT
Shredder
- Shredder is used to break the PCB boards into small pieces to feed it into the hammer mill. This shredder is designed in inclined position for feeding of PCBs. A 7.5 HP 440V AC motor is used. A sensor is used to detect shredder jam.
Hammer Mill
- It is used to cut both fridge and AC compressors. It cuts in both circular motion and vertical motion compatible for fridge and AC compressors.
Conveyors
- Two types of conveyors are used in this plant. One is Feeding conveyormade up of PVC belt with cleats. Another one is Screw conveyor. Both conveyors use 1 HP, 440V, AC geared motors.
Vibro Sieve
- A Vibratory sieve is used after hammer mill. This extracts Resin material and copper blends. Semi hammered particles are taken back into hammer mill to re-feed by a screw conveyor. A 2 HP, 440V AC Motor is used in this machine
Cyclone dust collector
- A cyclone dust collector is used to suck the segregated copper blend to feed into a density separator to sort out impurities and fibre materials from the copper blend. A 3 HP, 440V motor is used in this machine.
Feeder to density separator
- A 1 HP, 440V AC gear motor is used to feed the density separator.
Density separator
- The copper blend is fed into a density separator having 2 HP, 440V AC motor and a 2 HP Drive motor. This machine is used to separate copper particle from impure fibre materials.
Bag Filter
- Bag Filter is provided to filter out dust from exhaust air. 9. Control panel Control panel have a Touch HMI, PLC and Contactors, relays, motor production device, VFD etc
All the above machines are controlled and monitored by this control panel. It stops operations when faults and error occurs.
